Reiki Energy Healing

The Treatment

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a very soothing and relaxing treatment. The client simply lies on a couch and relaxes. If they are unable to lie down the treatment can be given in a sitting position. There is no need for the client to remove any clothing. The Practitioner gently places their hands non-intrusively in various positions just above or on the client's head and body. The whole person is treated rather than a specific symptom. A full treatment lasts for one hour.

How does it work?

Reiki is a system of natural healing which has its roots in ancient teachings, it was evolved in Japan in the early 1900's. Reiki is the Japanese word meaning Universal life energy, an energy which is all around us. During a Reiki treatment the Practitioner is a channel which the energy is drawn through by the need or imbalance in the client. Reiki flows to the area of need soothing pain and supporting the bodies natural ability to heal itself. Reiki allows the client to heal on many levels, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

About the Practitioner

I qualified as a Reiki Practitioner to second degree level on an Integrated Reiki Practitioner course through Reiki Evolution. I am qualified to send distance healing which I do free of charge.
